Wagner Chiropractic, a specialist in holistic health care, will host a 10-year celebration and fundraiser from 4-7pm Thursday, Oct. 26, at its Eustis office, 2755 S. Bay St. The public is invited to attend and admission is free.
Dr. Ramah Wagner, chief executive officer, actually has been working with the people of Lake County for more than 10 years, and says she’d like to give something back.
“I thought it would be fun to turn my 10-year anniversary party into a community event,” she says in a news release. “We hope to continue to grow deep roots within our community and stay on the cutting edge of methods and technologies that will support our belief to facilitate healing of the mind, body, and spirit of the wonderful people in our community.”
The doctor will be joined by other community businesses and friends, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony will include both the Eustis and East Lake County chambers of commerce.
The event will have a circus theme with award-winning professional clown Mz. Daisy, a stilt walker, face painting, dunking booth, bounce house, food, and more. Other activities include a dance flash mob, raffles of more than $3,000 in prizes, and a Scavenger Hunt. The first 100 people to complete the hunt will receive a goodie bag of products and be entered in the grand prize drawing for Orlando Magic basketball tickets and dinner for four at 1921 Restaurant in Mount Dora, the release states.

Former Magic basketball player Pat Burke will appear on behalf of the Hoops 4 Life Program, one of three charities, along with Deliver the Difference and United Way, that will benefit from the fundraiser.
Hoops 4 Life is a kid-oriented training program with a focus on becoming a better person, and achieving goals through coaching and life skills classes. This program is designed to build self- confidence and self-discipline on and off the court.
United Way is a national organization dedicated to strengthening communities through education, stable income opportunities, and improved health. Donations raised from this event will focus on United Way of Lake and Sumter Counties and help homeless people and their children in the Ocala National Forest.
The mission of Deliver the Difference, founded in Eustis, is to help end world hunger. Deliver the Difference packs more than 100,000 meals a year for underprivileged children. Meals are delivered to local schools each Friday and given anonymously to the students so they will not go hungry over the weekend. The proceeds from this event will contribute to keeping this endeavor moving forward.
