Villages golf outing to raise funds for Petrina’s anti-bullying program

isparkle-golf-tournament-logoPetrina is at it again with an annual event that raises funds for her anti-bullying scholarship program.

The Villages entertainer will host the 5th iSparkle Golf Outing Sept. 28 at Pimlico, Churchill Greens, and Belmont executive golf courses in The Villages. Evans Prairie Country Club, 1825 Evans Prairie Trail, will host an after-party from 5-8pm. Petrina will entertain and hand out awards for best dressed player and best decorated cart, according to a news release.

The tournament is a scramble format. Closest to the pin contests will be held on the third hole of each course.

The cost to play is $2, which will be paid on the day of play, plus a $10 entry fee per person that goes to iSparkle. iSparkle, which stands for inclusion, support, protect, act, respect, kindness, lift spirits, and encourage, is an anti-bullying program co-founded by Petrina. Scholarship funds are awarded to candidates who help create atmospheres of inclusion for their peers. Any qualified U.S. high school senior related to a Villages homeowner may apply for the scholarship program.
