Villagers putting on show to raise scholarship funds

The Villages has talent, and 16 fun and upbeat acts will prove it during a fundraiser for a good cause.

iSparkle Got Talent 3, the third edition of the talent show that raises college scholarship funds, is scheduled from 7-9pm Sunday, Feb. 10, at Lake Miona Recreation Center, 1526 Buena Vista Blvd. Tickets cost $16 each and tables for 8-10 people also can be purchased by contacting iSparkle team coordinator Rosemary Ahrens at 352.205.4892 or

Local performers including singers, magicians, comedians, and more are donating their time for the show. For a video detailing the acts, see

iSparkle, which stands for inclusion, support, protect, act, respect, kindness, lift spirits, and encourage, is an anti-bullying program co-founded by Villages entertainer Petrina. Scholarship funds are awarded to candidates who help create atmospheres of inclusion for their peers.
