Lake County is “on the move,” and county commissioners drove that point home Tuesday during the annual State of the County presentation at the Lake County Administration Building in Tavares.
The address highlighted the county’s 2019 achievements, such as the start of construction on a new animal shelter, the opening of Citrus Grove Road, and a new partnership with Kroger and Ocado to build a 350,000-square-foot customer fulfillment center, a news release states.
The program also included the induction of the late Kyleen Jane Fischer into the Women’s Hall of Fame. The produced State of the County video can be seen at www.youtube.com/watch?v=2IerhYohq_M.
