Delightful damsels, courtly knights and bawdy wenches return for the annual Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire, featuring feasts, entertainment and crafts.
The faire is scheduled from 9:30am-3pm Nov. 1 and 10am-5pm Nov. 2-3 and 9-10 on the grounds at 12835 County Landfill Road, Tavares.
The five-day reenactment of 1600s England includes nine stages of entertainment featuring combat jousting, a human chess match, period comedians and musicians. More than 60 artisans will line the forest paths, according to a news release.
It’s good, clean fun—and some adult fare—for a good cause: proceeds support teachers and students of Lake County Schools.
Tickets cost $17 for adults and $10 for children ages 4-12. Children 3 and younger are admitted free.
Education Day is Nov. 1 and all Lake County student tickets are $5. Teachers are admitted free.
On Senior Day, Nov. 3, seniors 62 and older are invited to attend the fair at a special discounted ticket rate of $8 for the day.
On Veterans Day, Nov. 10, the faire honors veterans and active military members with a discounted ticket rate of $8 with a valid military ID.
These special discount days can be purchased at the gate on the day of the event only. No exceptions. Group rates are available for groups of 15 or more.
