Modern art and oldies will mix Saturday when the Silvertones Rock & Roll Revue tears up the Modernism Museum Mount Dora, 145 E. Fourth Ave. Doors open at 6:30pm for a sparkling wine reception and the concert begins at 7pm.
The evening of singing, dancing, and reminiscing about the good ol’ days marks one of the last concerts during the museum’s current exhibit, “esherick to NAKASHIMA,” a news release states.
Tickets cost $20 for museum members, and $25 for non-members. Members may call 352.385.0034 to purchase tickets, while non-members can buy tickets online at modernismmuseum.org.
Guests also may make reservations for an exclusive pre-concert menu provided by 1921 by Norman Van Aken. For $35, enjoy a choice of starter, entrée, and dessert.
The Silvertones Rock & Roll Revue is a show-style act that promises guests will dance the night away to the best music of the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s.
