Occupation: Owner of Sierra Ford Photography in Mount Dora.
What I love about my profession: Photography is my favorite creative outlet because I love people and the connections between them. Photography allows me to document those in a tangible way that can be enjoyed for generations.
Favorite photo: A black-and-white photo of my mom. She’s sitting on the bow of our boat looking off at the water laughing. I love the genuine smile and memories tied to it. That was the trip where I realized I wanted to pursue photography and the first time I really used a camera.
Pet peeve: As it relates to photography, fake smiles and stiff poses. In life, it’s clutter.
Greatest career accomplishment: The way my clients feel about their experience is what is most important to me. I am extremely proud of the 150+ 5-star Google and Facebook reviews my clients have left us and the longevity of our business.
Describe yourself: Curious, passionate, social, and spontaneous.
Hidden talent: I can make a weirdly realistic-sounding goat noise.
Guilty pleasure: Chick-fil-A.
Philosophy of life: “Life is as good as you make it!”
