Sarah Trembley | 28

Occupation: Co-owner and general manager of Water Gypsy Coffee Co., Leesburg.

Family: Husband Andrew, son Luke, 4, and cats Scotchie and Gracie.

Hidden talent: I play bass guitar.

Describe yourself: Kind, creative, and goofy.

Greatest career accomplishment: Opening my own coffee shop with Maria Stefanovic, a trusted friend and business partner, before I’m 30.

Philosophy of life: I think it’s incredibly important to remember to take a step back and try to gain perspective from the other person’s point of view. Everyone is different and has different life experiences, temperaments, and triggers. Be respectful and understanding with others and act in love.

Personal go-to coffee order: A triple shot of espresso over ice with vanilla and a splash of half-and-half with caramel drizzle.

Advice I’d give my younger self: I’d tell younger Sarah that her individuality is not something to hide or be ashamed of, it will help you grow into the woman you’ll become. Also, don’t try to straighten your hair, it makes your frizz angry!

Most embarrassing moment: I may or may not have accidentally hit someone I respected when they tried to pull a prank and scare me… I no longer trust my reflexes. To this day, you’ll never catch me at a haunted walk or scary event; it’s the better choice for all involved.

Desired superpower: I’d love to be able to breathe underwater and communicate with animals.

Hobbies: I love crafting, art, music, and spending time with my family and friends.

Guilty pleasure: Watching “Murder She Wrote.” I love Angela Lansbury!
