The Realtors Association of Lake and Sumter Counties, Inc. (RALSC), has elected officers for 2019. They are: Bill Deese, president; Addie Owens, president-elect; Michael Taylor, vice-president; Terry Paschal, treasurer; and Abigail Carr, past-president.
The officers, along with appointed directors Brandy Lake, and Vickie Lingerfelt, will represent the interests of all Florida Realtor members at the state level.
The local group’s membership exceeds 2,400 professionals and Abigail Carr was appointed to serve as director to the National Association of REALTORS (NAR), whee she will represent the Realtors Association of Lake & Sumter Counties, Inc. on the national level.
Individuals representing groups on the national level have duties and responsibilities of the governing organization and participate and deliberate issues that impact all members’ professional lives, according to a press release.
Carr will serve as a member of the Florida NAR Directors Committee, Region 5 Caucus, and participate in the election of the Region 5 Vice President when the candidate is from Florida, and approve future NAR officer candidates from the state.
RALSC is a leader in the real estate industry and speaks for its professional community by providing education and exceptional service to members.
