Quan Nguyen | 37

Occupation: Owner of Duct-Man A/C and Heating, and entrepreneur.

Family: Wife Tiffany; three kids, Ty-Bryant, Ronin, and Alexis; and a German Shepherd named Oscar.

Hobbies: Traveling, boating, and trying new places to eat with friends!

Guilty pleasures: Watching movies, eating amazing foods, and gambling.

Your dream home: Quaint, but big enough to handle all my friends and family! I love a busy household.

Words to live by: Anyone that can go above and beyond when no one is watching. Integrity and a name are all you have at the end of the day; you can’t lose that!

Advice I’d give my younger self: Stay focused and humble, hard work is rewarded! Sometimes it’s easier to take the elevator, but a person cannot learn from their mistakes without taking the stairs first.

If I had $5 million: I’d try to make $10 million and then be the voice of the voiceless and disperse it out accordingly to those who need it the most.

Most embarrassing moment: My wife and I got invited to “America’s Got Talent” in Los Angeles back in 2017. While we were in the Dolby Theatre, we got picked and got moved all the way to the front row. The best part is that we got to see all the judges and shake their hands. During the break to our segment, I yelled out, ‘Hi Simon,’ then Simon commented on how my hair looked great and my outfit looked dapper! I said, ‘Thank you!’ I then asked Simon if my wife Tiffany and I could take a picture with him. He waved us up, and with the break almost over and the countdown happening, I ran up there and tripped in front of 5,000 people in the audience. It was horrible; the whole crowd snickered, and I felt so embarrassed! However, after I composed myself, he asked if I was ok, and then began to ask us about where we came from and gave us his undivided attention. What a nice guy, and at that point, I didn’t care what was going on!
