Mount Dora streets will fill up this weekend for annual Craft Fair

Come out this weekend and see why the Mount Dora Craft Fair was ranked the No. 4 craft festival in America by Sunshine Artist magazine 2019.

The historic downtown streets of Mount Dora will come alive with more than 400 of the best handcraft exhibitors and artists from around the country, as well as music, beer, wine and a kid’s zone. The 35th annual fair is scheduled from 9am-5pm Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 26-27, in the historic downtown area.

The Mount Dora Craft Fair offers free admission for all. More than 100,000 visitors are expected to attend this two-day event, according to its website. This is one of Central Florida’s favorite festivals at a perfect time of the year with cooler temperatures and the holidays just around the corner.

This show features an eclectic mix of arts and crafts from sculptures to ceramics to paintings to woodworking and more, providing visitors with the opportunity to find unique gifts for the holidays. Visitors can also shop in the city’s plentiful retail shops, boutiques and galleries.

One note for attendees: Mount Dora is a pet-friendly town, but city ordinance does not allow pets during special event weekends. For more information, visit or call 352.217.8390.
