More than 12,000 plants to be displayed at Mount Dora garden fair

The 24th annual Mount Dora Plant & Garden Fair will be planted firmly in Donnelly Park on Nov. 10-11, where flora experts will spread the seeds of their knowledge.

More than 12,000 plants, herbs, garden antiques, and other items will also be on display and for sale at the park, located 530 N. Donnelly St.

Florida’s top growers will answer questions and give gardening advice to the general public for free. There is no cost to attend for either day.

The fair hours are 9 am to 5 pm Saturday, Nov. 10, and 9 am to 4 pm Sunday, Nov. 11.

Some roads will be closed for this event, including Baker Street between 5th and 6th avenues, Baker Street parking area, and the lot in front Mount Dora City Hall.

Free parking will be will be available other areas downtown.
