Parents and children rarely agree on music, but at least one pair are in such harmony on the subject that they perform together.

Mother/daughter duo Jill Towers and Kaleigh LeBeau will kick off summer library programming with a free concert hosted by the Friends of the Cooper Memorial Library. The show is scheduled from 4-5pm Monday, June 4, in Room 108 (first-floor community room) of the library, 2525 Oakley Seaver Drive, Clermont. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Jill is a Central Florida singer-songwriter who plays several instruments and is accompanied by Kaleigh on bass guitar and vocals as they perform rock, blues, and other genres, according to reverbnation.com. They also have performed in the band Anita Drink. For more information about the live music series and other special events at Cooper, contact Dennis Smolarek, reference librarian and adult programs, at 352.536.2275 or dsmolarek@mylakelibrary.org.
