Landi Hicks | 21

Occupation: Professional dancer/choreographer at Dance Dynamix and licensed esthetician and wax specialist.

Bet you didn’t know: I was a top-40 finalist in the 2020 Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader auditions.

Guilty pleasure: Loves ice cream way too much.

Philosophy of life: “Be the good you want to see in the world.”

Working with young dancers: I pride myself in developing individuals with qualities such as self-esteem, confidence, dedication and character, creating the foundation for lifelong personal integrity.

Leader I admire: Linda Watts. I have been volunteering with her and her programs since the age of 4. I’ve never met someone so giving and selfless. I’ve idolized her my whole life.

Most embarrassing moment: When I was 6, I performed a solo for a competition, and I wore two big curly hairpieces. One wasn’t pinned in good enough and fell off in the middle of my dance! I was mortified.

If I had $5 million: I would start by paying off my student loans, then I would open my own dance school and spa. With the rest of the money, I would donate to different organizations I’ve worked with such as Give Kids the World, the Ronald McDonald Houses, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Pet peeve: When someone says they can’t do something, but they haven’t tried hard enough or worked to get it.
