Lake County Folk Festival in Ferran Park This Weekend

Time to party like it’s 1960!

The 21st Annual Lake County Folk Festival is coming to historic downtown Eustis this weekend, Saturday and Sunday.  Fine Arts and Craft vendors, food and kid’s games will be at Ferran Park. It’s free and open to the public.

Two days of constant performances will be held at the Alice McClelland Memorial Bandshell main stage by area musicians. Bring your chairs and relax on the lawn.

Event times:

  • Saturday, Oct. 6 from 10am to 9pm
  • Sunday, Oct. 7 from 11am to 5pm

One of the best musical events in Florida, this family-oriented event offers Traditional and Vintage Folk Music, Americana, Blues, Celtic, Bluegrass, Gospel, Originals, and Oldies for all.

The Historic Bay State Theater will host indoor shows along with the Lake Eustis Museum of Art. Two jam tents will be set up, so bring your musical instrument to jam along with the musicians!

The bandshell in Ferran Park is the location for the fine arts and craft vendors. Looking for food? They’ll be parked on Ferran Park Drive!

The children’s area by the gazebo in the park will have special projects for children such as crafts, games, contests and the Eustis playground. Venues are friendly and music is appropriate for all ears.

Competition for the “Funniest Folk Song” contest is Sunday at 10am. Call 352-455-8307 for information.

Volunteers are always needed. Contact: music@lakecountyfolkfestival.org.

Please check the website for updates and sponsor lists. These are the folks that make it all possible!
