Jason Robert Brown’s songs to be performed in intimate setting

The Studio Theatre Tierra Del Sol promises an unforgettable evening with the music of one of Broadway’s most celebrated songwriters.

“Hear My Songs: The Songs of Jason Robert Brown” is scheduled for 7pm Tuesday-Wednesday, May 29-30, at The Studio, 806 San Marino Drive, The Villages. Tickets cost $35 and can be purchased at, and all Villages box offices.

The concert celebrates the works of Brown, who is best known for his dazzling scores to several of the most renowned musicals of his generation, including “The Last Five Years,” his debut song cycle “Songs for a New World,” and “Parade,” for which he won the 1999 Tony Award for Best Score, a promotional release states. This exclusive event features a stellar cast of rising Broadway talent and outstanding musicians performing songs from those three shows, plus “Honeymoon in Vegas,” “Urban Cowboy,” “13,” and “The Bridges of Madison County.” The cast includes Cole Burden, Cameron Anika Hill, Vince Oddo, and Kalli Siringas. The show is directed by Yvette Kojic with musical direction by Randy Redd.
