iSparkle Talent Show in Villages to raise scholarship funds


Organizers of iSparkle Got Talent 4 are booking seats in advance for the February show.

The talent show, which raises scholarship funds for iSparkle, an anti-bullying program, is scheduled from 7-9pm Feb. 9 at Mulberry Grove Recreation Center, 8445 SE 165th Mulberry Lane, The Villages.

This version of the show features new and fewer acts to give each act more time on stage, according to a news release. The lineup includes professional entertainers and nonprofessionals: Handsome Molly, acoustic bluegrass; singer Tony Brown; Mike Palma, ventriloquist/comedian; Dynamic Dogs, circus act; Peter Alden, an Elvis impersonator and singer of 1950s and ’60s music; singer Wayne Richards; Cardio Drumming; and entertainer Petrina, the co-founder of iSparkle.




Tickets are selling fast. Fans will get to see eight acts for $18. To reserve seats or a table, email Rosemary Ahrens at This reserves a spot, and payments for tickets will not be needed until the end of December. Tickets will be mailed.

iSparkle, which stands for inclusion, support, protect, act, respect, kindness, lift spirits and encourage, is an anti-bullying program. Scholarship funds are awarded to candidates who help create atmospheres of inclusion for their peers.
