Introducing… The Tall Texan

Slow down and smell the barbecueThe May Style cover photo of a sandwich stuffed with an ungodly amount of grilled meat was meant for illustrative purposes only. So imagine our surprise when John Dance’s Smokehouse owner John Dance     reported that customers tried to order the gut-buster piled high with sausage, brisket, chicken, pulled pork, ribs and cole slaw.

John, who believes in customer satisfaction, built the requested sandwich and “The Tall Texan” — more than three pounds of BBQ bombasity — is now featured on the John Dance’s Smokehouse menu.
