Organizers of a fundraiser for a college scholarship fund are looking for “crazy fun people” who can sing, dance, perform comedy skits, or have any other act of no more than five minutes for a talent show. You don’t need to be a professional entertainer.
The Got Talent Fun’draiser is scheduled from 6-9pm Aug. 20 at Lake Miona Recreation Center, 1526 Buena Vista Blvd., The Villages.
The show benefits iSparkle, a college scholarship fund created by Villages entertainer Petrina.
Contact Rosemary Ahrens, iSparkle events coordinator, at sparkleteamcoord@gmail.com to sign up and discuss ideas for performances either as a solo act or as a group.
Scholarship funds are awarded to high school student candidates who help create atmospheres of inclusion for their peers. For more information, go to petrina.biz/iSparkle.html.
