“A Spirit of Service” is this year’s theme for the new video of the State of Lake County. highlighting achievements of the board such as budget efficiencies, public safety improvements, economic development and tourism initiatives.
Uplifting and exciting, you will meet the people behind the titles and see the action and activities that took place this year throughout the county. Well-written, well-edited, it is enjoyable to watch.
Most importantly, this video makes you care about a subject so often overlooked and generally not found to be exciting: the daily grind of government. Looking at this video could change all that in minutes. Kudos to the Lake County Communications team for their year-long effort on this project. Bryan Baquiran, multi-media content coordinator led the video shoot, production, and editing.
During the state of the economy program the County Commissioners also included induction of the late Mabel Norris Reese into the Women’s Hall of Fame, and Sheriff Peyton Grinnell gave special recognition to Lake County first responders who assisted in the security and recovery operations during Hurricane Michael.
The Lake County Board of County Commissioners hosted the annual State of the County presentation in their offices in Tavares.
