Americans spent an estimated $2.7 billion on Halloween candy in 2017, according to the National Retail Federation. That includes buying about 90 million pounds of chocolate, while candy makers also produced 35 million pounds of candy corn for the holiday, dailyburn.com reports. Among this year’s fast-selling candies are Dove Milk Chocolate Ghosts, Liquid Candy Blood Energy Potion Bags, Gummy Scary Eyeballs, Day of the Dead Sweet Skull Lip Pops, and Troll Sour Brite Crawlers Gummy Worms sold in a Halloween skull.
