Florida Cornhole Championships Will be in Clermont

The city of Clermont and Visit Lake Florida are hosting the American Cornhole Association (ACA) Florida Championships of Cornhole. The event will be May 24-25 at the Clermont Arts and Recreation Center, 3700 U.S. Highway 27.

“As the Choice of Champions, the City of Clermont is happy to host yet another championship,” Clermont City Manager Darren Gray says. “We wish all the cornhole competitors well and we invite them to enjoy Clermont’s many shopping and dining options, including our new downtown breweries and restaurants.”

One of the fastest-growing sports in North American, cornhole has come into its own during the past decade. It’s a wonderful family game for all ages and especially enjoyed by tailgaters while waiting for their favorite teams to play.

“We believe that Clermont is going to be a great host city for this event in May of 2019 and we hope a home to many more ACO events in the future,” American Cornhole President Frank Geers adds.
