Cutrale employees emerged as the biggest losers out of 40 teams competing in the 90-Day Business Wellness Challenge, a body fat weight-loss contest, hosted by the Leesburg Area Chamber of Commerce and Leesburg Regional Medical Center.
The “In It Too Win It” team composed of Tim Rogers, Eric Grady, Dina Besliglio, Manuel, and Gregory Tucker lost 22.6 percent body fat, a total of 111 pounds, and were the overall first-place winners.
Placing second was Cutrale team “Fixin’ to Lose It,” composed of Mark Wishork, Randy Zipperer, John Martin, and Justin Mabey. They lost 17.3 percent body fat.
Placing third was Central Florida Health team “For Better Naked Tomorrows,” composed of Seth Perry, Joseph Joseph Weyker, JP Leroy, Tom Hutchins, and Michelle Bentley, with a 15.3 percent body fat loss.
The overall individual winner was Cutrale’s Tim Rogers, who lost 46 pounds, and had a 10.4 percent body fat loss.
“We had a healthy competition at the job, and we wanted to compete against each other,” says Tim, 44, of Tavares, who has worked at Cutrale for 15 years. “What kept me motivated when we first started is that I made up the ‘In It Too Win It” name and I committed myself to it.”
Tim also inspired his teammates to do their best, too.
