Crowning achievement

The 33rd Annual Miss Leesburg Scholarship Pageant was held last weekend inside the Leesburg High School auditorium. The 2019 representatives include:

Tiny Miss Leesburg – Alexis Blasky

Little Miss Leesburg – Harper Richey

Junior Miss Leesburg – Callie Braun

Teen Miss Leesburg – Mercedes Perry

Miss Leesburg – Kamryn Reynolds

Volunteerism is an important component of the Miss Leesburg Scholarship Pageant.

Kamryn received a $3,000 cash scholarship to the college of her choice (made payable to the college).  First runner up, Abbigail Wade, received a $1,000 scholarship. The four younger age groups received $100 cash.

The girls will represent Leesburg at special events, parades and community activities throughout the year. “The purpose of our program is to select local girls to become more involved in their hometown,” said Director Linda Watts. “Our goal is to promote pride in the community through active involvement in many areas, including volunteer service work.”
