Pouring the tea will be members of the Theatre Arts Society of Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) at the Magnolia Room, 9501 U.S. Highway 441 in Leesburg from 11am-12:30pm.
There’s more! Cameo performances and photo opportunities with characters from “Alice in Wonderland” will be available at The Tea Party.
See “Alice in Wonderland” Oct 19-20
You can attend the one-hour play production the night before, or Saturday morning before the Tea Party, when the college will offer “Alice in Wonderland” at the Paul P. Williams Auditorium on the Leesburg Campus.
Tickets are available for either Friday, Oct. 19, 7 pm-8pm or Saturday morning 10 am-11am performances.
Purchase tickets online at www.odysseymagazineonline.com/lssc-theatre.
Prices are $10 adults, $5 children (ages 3-12) and FREE for LSSC students, staff, faculty and children under 3. (Another good reason to be back in school, perhaps?)
Prices for the play AND the Tea Party are $20 adults, $10 children (ages 3-12), and LSSC staff and faculty.
The Tea Party will take place immediately after Saturday morning’s performance, but in a different location. (probably when the Hatter is the Maddest?)
“We strive to make theatre accessible and fun for all ages,” said Heather Elmatti, LSSC faculty member and director for the productions.
This children’s readers theatre production will also host special matinee performances for over 900 Lake County elementary students in several area schools.
This enchanting version of Lewis Carroll’s classic play was adapted by Kathryn Schultz Miller.
