Clermont economic development subject of library program


Clermont is booming with new developments, and a special library presentation will inform the public about what’s coming to the city.

The Cooper Memorial Library will host guest speaker Shannon Schmidt, economic development director for Clermont. She will talk about current and upcoming projects during a program scheduled from 10am-noon Wednesday, Jan. 16, in Room 108 (first-floor community room) at the library, 2525 Oakley Seaver Drive, Clermont.

This is a free program and everyone is welcome to attend. Register with Kristina Grasso at for the presentation and raffle entry. The program is sponsored by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and Cornerstone Hospice of Lake County.
