Occupation: Singer/songwriter, performs all over Lake County.
Desired superpower: The ability to not break guitar strings!
Guilty pleasures: It’s been said that I buy and trade too many guitars. Sometimes I feel guilty… other times not!
Describe yourself: Creative, driven, hardworking, and ready.
Philosophy of life: “If it’s God’s will for something to be in your life, then there’s nothing you can do to stop it.”
If I had $5 million: I’d make an album with the finest production and push it to the radio.
Advice I’d give my younger self: Don’t stop playing guitar when you get frustrated with it and learn something new from everyone.
Which of your songs is your favorite: Honestly I love them all but if I have to choose — “God’s Right Hand.”
Greatest career accomplishment: Being voted Style’s Best of the Best for local musician 2020.
Who do you credit with helping get your career started: Aside from my wife, Madison, and the rest of my family; Rod Padgett, John Blake, Joe Hand, Sammie Fillmore, Brandon Smith, Josh Williams, Joel Wright, Matt and Ginger Biegler, and Casey Carnley. These are people who have truly invested time in me, shown me friendship and how to be successful. I’m grateful for each and every one of them.
