A blues traveler is making a stop in Clermont for a musical performance.

The Cooper Memorial Library will host guitarist Marc Black with a program of jazz and blues from 6-8pm Thursday, Feb. 28, at 2525 Oakley Seaver Drive. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend this free concert sponsored by the Friends of the Cooper Memorial Library.

Marc plays finger-style blues in the traditions of the great Mississippi Hurt and Tim Hardin, according to a news release. A proud road warrior, he was inducted into the New York Chapter of the Blues Hall of Fame in 2014. Marc has performed and recorded with singers Art Garfunkel, Taj Mahal, Richie Havens, and Pete Seeger, to name a few. To learn more, visit marcblack.com.
