BBQ, Brews & Blues festival set for Saturday in downtown Leesburg

Does it get any better than tasty barbecue, cold beer, and heavy-duty blues? Doubtful.

So head to Leesburg this Saturday, March 17, for the Downtown Leesburg BBQ, Brews & Blues festival. The event is scheduled from 5-9pm at Towne Square on West Main Street. Admission costs $10 for adults, and $5 for children under 10. The festival is sponsored by the Downtown Leesburg Business Association.

Hungry visitors can dive into unlimited samples (while supplies last) of amazing backyard barbecue as area teams compete for the best ribs, pork, brisket, and chicken, and the title of “Best of the Best,” according to the DLBA website.

Magic Hat is the featured beer among the choices of ice-cold domestic and craft beer. A full liquor bar also will be available, but hey—they’re not giving it away. Adult beverages are not included in the ticket price. You can’t have everything.

Great blues music throughout the day will include performances by the David Julia Band.
